Hi guys, I put in quite some work in the following brochure. (is that the right word for that, a brochure has more pages then what I made, right?) I am planning to let it be delivered in residential homes. I am still deciding if I look for a service who will bring them around for me in England, for example London or that I start with a service that I already found in Amsterdam to deliver it in to 10k!! homes. More about the strategy I am planning to use in the off-line strategy section of this forum later. We could discuss that then there. For now, what do you guys think of the design, text etc. and what would you do to improve it to get an as high conversion rate as possible? (you can find the design in the pdf down below) Remember, they get delivered in residential homes, so people have time to read a bit. Do not be afraid to be critical. I love critical feedback and it will be impossible to hurt my feelings. It will help me. The design will get folded like this in case you had not guessed that yet:

As for using my design yourself. Please be so kind to not use it in England, the Netherlands or Germany as I plan to target these countries myself with my designed brochure to start with. City by city I will conquer these countries if my strategy turns out to work. If you are planning to address any other country with my design I am willing to share. Just let me know and I will help you get all the tools to use and adjust this design to make it work in your selected countries as well.
(Of course the coupon code and web address to give in the coupon are fiction for now. I got permission from the community members to use their review from the website, except from one of them that I am still waiting for an answer. I will remove it again with understanding if the answer turns out to be a no to use it)
Hey Kris, so as promised I've tried to keep the same tone/writing style and wording that you used to rewrite your brochure. The title annoyed me a bit so I tried to reword it but I am still not 100% satisfied with it - maybe someone can help a bit with it?
Also, was just trying out all the features that I can use in this blog post.
Since the existence of big hotel platforms like Booking.com, Expedia, and Airbnb, little has changed in how these giants make their money. And as a consequence make it more expensive for you without adding anything extra to the quality of your nights' stay. These websites take an average of 15-30% commissions. There are cases where they take commissions of up to 60 percent!
Hotel owners are forbidden from showing prices below the rate parity agreement - an unfair agreement that hotel owners begrudgingly sign to be able to sell their rooms online on these booking platforms. Hotels need to comply or otherwise be excluded from getting reservations from people booking online. This way, you actually pay MORE than needed for booking your hotels.
Thankfully, there is a new startup called LockTrip that is trying to change all these unfair practices and by doing so, saves you lots of money. Now you can book the same hotel for cheaper!
LockTrip does this by overthrowing the expensive commissions and by using a so-called freemium business model instead. Because of this, you save hundreds that can be used on your travels. This means better restaurants, attractions, museums, or that nice little cocktail on the beach all of which are suddenly more affordable!
Through this freemium business model, LockTrip is cheaper than any other Online Travel Agency (OTA). The OTAs are dependent on expensive commissions while LockTrip is carving out a unique way to eliminate commissions altogether.
